It’s a family affair when it comes to the Culpo sisters. As with many sisters, when one loves something she influences the others, and that’s the case with Olivia, Aurora and Sophia Culpo who are all avid fans of Thorne. Each one of them is intermingled with the wellness and beauty space in their own way, so their supplement routines vary. We heard from Olivia earlier in the year, and we just sat down with Sophia and Aurora to learn about their go-to supplements, favorite fall beauty products and more.
Aurora on taking the biological age test
Aurora: “It said I was 45. No, just kidding. It said I was like two and a half years younger than what I am, so like 32 and a half. There are a few different markers they test, and then they give you some suggestions for how you can implement different lifestyle changes to bring your age further back or maintain some of the qualities of youth from the inside out.
One of the things it told me to do was lift weights, and I actually do notice a difference with my energy, obviously with my strength, and it’s not something that occurred to me, as a woman, to lift heavy weights.”

Sophia on what she found out from the gut health test
Sophia: “It’s an in-depth analysis of your gut microbiome, which is really interesting because it shows you where you stand with so many different strains of bacteria that are so vital to gut health and also brain health because the gut-brain axis is so intimately linked.
This was my first time doing a test and not expecting the results to be crazy bad because I’ve dealt with health issues when I was younger like autoimmune and IBS, so I’ve done many gut health tests before. This one had happy results and everything was pretty good. There are certain areas that I can definitely improve, and they give you a personalized plan of supplementation that you can take to make those adjustments.
It was really cool and really easy. I’m making my boyfriend do it because he doesn’t believe me that nutrition and health are related, so I’m trying to get him to understand a little bit more.”

On fall beauty trends
Sophia: “Ooh, Kylie Cosmetics just came out with a new shadow palette. It’s all the beautiful browns and taupes and the colors you want to play around with for fall. All of Makeup by Mario’s eyeshadow palettes are great. For fall, I love amping up the eye a little bit, especially with those darker shades it’s really fun. I just love the colors of fall, and creating a warmer-toned palette on your face is really fun.”
Aurora: “I love ILIA. I do most of my makeup on the go and their stuff is super easy to apply and really minimalistic. You can wear it in the morning, and it transitions into the night. So, that’s definitely my favorite for makeup.
I think for fall trends I’m really loving the colorful vibe, like big mohair colorful sweaters and a colorful pant. I’m always a fan of fall because of boots. Boots, tights, mini skirts. Favorite Daughter makes these cropped boyfriend Oxfords, I have them in like three different colors—that’s kind of been my uniform lately.
I just love everything about fall. I love matching my makeup look to what I wear, and fall has browns, maroons, oranges, all those warm tones when it comes to makeup. Also, I feel like blush is just all the rage right now. You really have hopped on the blush trend.”
Sophia: “I love blush because it completely changes your look. For the fall, doing those warmer browns or mauves is great. Rose-Marie Swift, the creator of RMS beauty, is all over TikTok right now about how she would do the Victoria’s Secret angels with red blush because it’s the most natural looking on everyone, which is so interesting.
I love her content, and I love RMS. RMS was one of the first beauty brands I ever used when I had all these autoimmune issues and I needed to be wearing cleaner products because everything was giving me a rash. It was one of those brands that I turned to. And now it’s all the rage, and I’m like, ‘I knew it first!’”
On growing up with sisters
Sophia: “For me, I learned everything from my older sisters. I remember just sitting on the bathroom floor and watching them do their makeup and in watching you learn. So when I was in middle school and high school, whenever we had a school dance or a football game or whatever, all my friends would ask me to do their makeup because they didn’t know how to do makeup, and I was like, ‘this is how you beat the face.’ All my clothes were hand-me-downs. I didn’t, but I wanted to wear Olivia‘s Miss Universe dress to prom as a joke, not seriously.”
Aurora: “You did wear one of her dresses, though.”
Sophia: “She got me a dress from Sherri Hill, so I did go to my prom with the most outrageous gown that my sister got me. There was a bustle.”
Aurora: “I think being the oldest girl maybe made me put my bossy pants on a little earlier than I would have if I didn’t have siblings. Birth order just makes such a difference. If you’re first in line and your parents are young, you break them in. I think being the oldest, you definitely feel like you get parentified in a way. So I think I felt responsible for my sisters, and I did a pretty good job.”
Aurora’s supplement routine
“I definitely switch things up. There are different times throughout my cycle that I’ll take different things. One thing that I do take every day is an omega-three fatty acid. I take the super EPA. It helps inflammation all over your body, especially your heart and your brain, and that’s something that I have found has great benefits for my mental health. Right before my period, I’ll take GABA. GABA helps with anxiety and PMS symptoms.
There’s one that I take called SAT, and it actually has artichoke extract in it. Artichoke helps your body to metabolize excess estrogen, and a lot of people don’t realize that a lot of those PMS symptoms are actually from excess estrogen that’s floating around your body that, for me, was causing things like cystic acne, which is not fun.”
Sophia’s supplement routine
Sophia: “I also shift depending on what I need, but something that I will take every single day is my advanced nutrient, which is a multivitamin that also has antioxidants to help with healthy aging, and it has NR, which is a precursor to NAD, which is the whole new rave in the beauty and wellness industry because it slows the process of aging a little bit so you have healthier aging and cells. It works with the mitochondria and all the energy production of your cells. So it’s something that I like to incorporate every single day.
I use basic B complex because I actually learned from my gut health test that my gut doesn’t produce B vitamins as well as it should, which makes a lot of sense because I also suffer from migraines, which are heavily linked to B vitamins. So, I always take my B complex. I take hormone advantage as well to just kind of balance everything out. And l take Glutamine for my gut health. It’s a little powder I put in my water or coffee. It tastes like nothing. That has been one of my go-to supplements for like five years at this point.
I also take creatine. Creatine has huge benefits for women. Women think it’s going to bulk you up. Women don’t make anywhere near as much creatine as men do, and it declines as you age, so when you look at the things in your body that decline as you age, you want to supplement those because you want to make your body function as youthful as possible. It really helps with your bone and muscle density and with mental health as well. Everything is so interconnected.
You don’t want to get too overwhelmed. I remember a time when I was taking like 20 supplements a day—that’s not sustainable, and also it’s just not necessary. Ideally, you’re getting most of these nutrients through your food, but unfortunately, you really can’t for a lot of these, especially when you’re trying to fight inflammation that’s already there.”
Sophia on healing leaky gut
Sophia: “A lot of it was learning what foods I can and can’t eat and foods I can eat but only in a certain quantity. Leaky gut is kind of exactly what it sounds like. Your gut is permeable, and food particles actually go into your bloodstream, which is not supposed to happen. It causes systemic inflammation, which causes a lot of symptoms and an immune response from your body. So, for me, L-glutamine kind of plugged those holes, so the food stays in the digestive tract, and you don’t have that immune response and inflammation, and your body is able to heal itself and digest food the way it’s supposed to. So L-glutamine was a really important supplement for me.
Also, doing smaller meals throughout the day instead of big meals is helpful. Big meals are really hard on me. Naturally and instinctively, I’m a grazer. I’m always snacking. So, for me, the idea of three meals isn’t even appealing, and it’s not good for my body because I was never able to digest the meals properly. So breaking up the meals, keeping a journal of the foods that I can and can’t eat, and then, when I was really symptomatic, I relied heavily on smoothies and soups and pre-digested food.”
Aurora on the most shocking thing she’s learned in the wellness space
Aurora: “I think there’s so much new data coming out all the time, and so many new weight and health trends. One of the things I found to be the most shocking is that, oftentimes, the simplest solution is the right one. And the fact is, if you’re eating healthy, clean, organic food, if you’re avoiding seed oils, highly processed food, liquid sugar, if you’re drinking enough water, if you’re exercising like it’s not that complicated.”
